Vietjet launches “Startup Flight” to boost India-Vietnam innovation ties

• Cash prize of USD1,000 and round-trip Vietjet tickets for each winning team

(Mumbai, August 26, 2025)–Vietjethaslaunched “Startup Flight”,a unique cross-border initiative that the airline co-founds to connect innovative minds and entrepreneurial ecosystems between India and Vietnam.The contest is jointly organized in partnership with India’s Amity Innovation Incubator and Vietnam’s National Startup Support Center.

Designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and investment, Startup Flight opens new opportunities for young entrepreneurs from both countries to scale globally, especially across fast-growing sectorssuch as artificial intelligence (AI).Through Vietjet’s extensive flight network, Startup Flight will link India’slargest cities andinnovationhubs where Vietjet has operations—Delhi, Mumbai,Ahmedabad,Bengaluru, Hyderabad,andKochi—with Vietnam’srisingtechcentersin Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.

The initiativeseeks to nurture talentsand promote innovative solutions in four priorityareas: Software&Data/AI,E-commerce&Retail, EdTech, and Transportation&Logistics.

Entrepreneurs from both countries—individuallyor in teams of up to three members—are invited to submit proposalsin each of these four categories bySeptember 15, 2025, viathe websiteTheStartupFlight.vietjetair.com(*).Eightshortlistedteams (two per category) will receive direct mentorship from renowned business leadersinboth nations and participate in the Startup Flight finale—where they will pitch live to a panel of investors.
