Making Education Accessible for Underprivileged Students an initiative by Lotus Eco Beach Resort Supports

Murud- Nestled in the scenic locale Lotus Resorts by Orchid Hotels, reaffirms its commitment to social welfare with a recent initiative aimed at supporting underprivileged students. In collaboration with the Indira Venkatesh Foundation Trust, the resort has extended a helping hand to N.K. Varadkar High School, located in A/P. Murud, Tal. Dapoli Dist. Ratnagiri.

The donation, directed towards fostering the education of economically underprivileged yet academically brilliant students. This contribution is poised to reduce the financial burden faced by deserving students, enabling them to pursue their academic aspirations without any barrier.

Five exceptional students, namely Sanika Sushil Bothre and Sarthak Santosh Revale from Std. 8th, Aarya Raju Bhuvad and Prathamesh Bharat Shirke from Std. 9th, and Chandana Amit Jadhav from Std. 10th, have been selected as beneficiaries of this initiative.

N.K. Varadkar High School held a recognition event on February 5, 2024, to honor Mr. Krishna Patil, the General Manager of Lotus Resort by Orchid Hotels, Dapoli, where Principal Madhumanti Nandakumar Garde presented him with a special honor and conveyed heartfelt appreciation during the occasion. Expressing his enthusiasm for this initiative, Krishna Patil, the GM of Lotus Eco Beach Resort, stated, “At Lotus Eco Beach Resort by Orchid Hotels & Indira Venkatesh Foundation Trust, we believe in giving back to the community and investing in the future generation. By supporting intellectual students through fee donations, we aspire to unlock their full potential and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.”

During the felicitation ceremony, Mr. Krishna Patil also engaged with the students, offering valuable guidance and words of encouragement to inspire them in their academic pursuits.
