Maverick & Farmer Presents the Second Edition of "Friends of the Farmer" Brew Sessions

An initiative to showcase the expertise of local farmers in the coffee community

October 2023, Bangalore: Maverick & Farmer, artisanal coffee brand, has announced the second edition of its "Friends of the Farmer" brew sessions. The initiative continues to shine a spotlight on local coffee farmers and their exceptional produce. This session, scheduled for October 28th at 4 pm at the Ulsoor cafe, will feature farmers Ashok and Rohan Kuriyan from Balanoor Plantations, Chennekal Estate. The featured, sustainably-grown coffee will be available at Maverick & Farmer cafes and online for a period of two months.

Participants will be given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the art of brewing using a French Press and a Pour-over under the guidance of Ashish D’abreo, Q Grader, Coffee Roaster and Co-founder of Maverick & Farmer Coffee and the farmers from Balanoor Plantations. Attendees will explore the nuanced flavour profiles of the Tree Dried Arabica Natural coffee from Balanoor Plantations paired with pass-around snacks over conversations with Ashok and Rohan.
