An exquisite affair inspired by the culinary delights of the Mediterranean, guests can enjoy the lightness of regional savouries like borek, a special service of mezze and finish on a delightful sweet note with adored, country specific favourites.

The classic service of scones, a much-revered English tradition, has been replaced with a tempting array of fresh Mezze like labneh, hummus and muhammara served with crisp pita. Basbusa is a delightful, syrup drenched semolina cake that originated in Egypt and this will be a feature alongside pistachio and honey baklava. Bocconcini del Nonno, or grandfather’s morsels, a traditional soft, Southern Italian almond biscuit covered with crisp almond flakes will be a part of the pastries selection.

‘The Mediterranean is a very broad brushstroke, and curating this Afternoon Tea menu meant that the most interesting treats would make it as part of the offerings.’ remarked Executive Pastry Chef, Partha Bose.
