Meet Ginkgo - the Pan-Asian cloud kitchen that’ll change the way you eat

Born in the middle of the pandemic, Ginkgo is a cloud kitchen run by one of the most prestigious hospitality families — the Kohlis. Set up by Mr Jaibir Singh Kohli, Director - Pritam Group of Hotels & Restaurants, Ginkgo operates out of the main kitchen at Hotel Midtown Pritam and serves up a lip-smacking variety of Pan-Asian fare.

Mr Jaibir Singh Kohli, a graduate from Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland, holds a BBA in International Hotel & Resort Development, Asset Management & Finance. After working on several asset management projects in Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Switzerland and Barcelona, he returned to India and joined the family business. Soon, he set up restaurants like Tori, Edgware Road and most recently, Ginkgo.

Think of Ginkgo as the solution to all those times you’re ordering in Asian food with friends or family, with everyone wanting something different. With its wide variety of Korean, Japanese, desi Chinese, Thai and other varieties, Ginkgo acts as your saviour during such times. Whether you’re in the mood for Hong Kong-style wontons with drizzles of chilli oil or just a really good chicken satay, Ginkgo’s got you covered. With its wholesome, hearty flavours and large varieties of vegetarian and vegan options, it offers the swiftest and tastiest solution for every craving.

For your next Asian binge, the menu throws up a number of choices. Think Pad Krapow, the hot favourite - Dan Dan Noodles, Taiwanese Fried Chicken Popcorn, Kimchi Fried Rice, Corn Cream, Malaysian Curry, Mongolian Lamb, Claypot Rice, and lots more. Their Korean delicacies includeKorean Bulgogi, Korean Spicy Garlic Chicken, Korean Pork Bulgogi, Korean Tenderloin Bulgogi, and Korean Garlic Noodles.

“We had Ginkgo do a pop-up at MRP, one of our other restaurants. The food was so well-received that we decided to keep it on and continue serving Ginkgo's Asian delights there since it pairs well with drinks. With Ginkgo, we’ve brought our own Asian food experiences to the table to provide patrons with the ultimate pan-Asian culinary experience, at their fingertips. Apart from this, we’re exploring other pop-ups across the city, as well as a food truck in early 2022.”
