“I’ve been in the business of creating restaurants since 25 years now , and after co - founding path breaking restaurant connects like The Wine Company , Yo China , Whisky Samba & Antares , I have now founded a new company called - New Gen Power hospitality , which has opened Mezze Mambo . This company is spearheaded by a young , dynamic team - Megha Kohli , Jaiman Singh & Shivangi Seth , who have brought in their fresh ideas and energy and I look forward to guiding them and creating new restaurants both within India and internationally. With Mezze Mambo , we wanted to open a niche , intimate restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine paired with great cocktails & music ! I felt that there was a gap in the market for such a space and that there is an audience who would appreciate and enjoy what we have built ”

Mezze Mambo is a captivating venue that offers a multi-faceted dining experience. Guests are welcomed into a sunlit haven during the day, treated to breathtaking views through giant windows. As twilight falls, the ambiance transforms into an intimate and romantic space, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. After 10:30 PM, Mezze Mambo ignites into a high-energy bar, pulsating with groovy mid-eastern beats, and serving curated cocktails by Arijit Bose & team Countertop.

The restaurant features four distinct zones, each evoking a unique vibe to cater to diverse preferences. The main bar, with its comfortable seating and suspended DJ booth, serves as a captivating focal point. Guests can retreat to the romantic enclosed balcony, offering mesmerising views and a secluded atmosphere. The enchanting lounge on the floor above, accessed via two staircases and anchored by a giant disco ball, overlooks the vibrant bar and suspended DJ booth. Additionally, the open outdoor terrace invites guests to unwind while enjoying scenic views of the park.

The design concept by Freddy Birdy at Mezze Mambo reflects a playful yet elegant colour-scape. Downstairs, the ceiling flaunts hot pinks and gold, exuding a sense of vibrancy and allure. Upstairs, the red ceiling amplifies the club vibe, creating an electrifying atmosphere. Smoky mirrors, tea lights, and mirrors with stained antique frames and a mesmerising mural in the balcony further enhance the sensual ambiance, immersing guests in a world of visual delight.

“Mezze Mambo is an intimate , charming little duplex of a restaurant & bar . The predominant colours I’ve used are hot pinks and a beaten gold for the ceiling downstairs, and a red ceiling upstairs, amplifying the clubby upstairs vibe. There are smoky mirrors and tea lights and mirrors with stained antique frames, all contributing to the overall sexiness of the ambience. The mood of the space is intimate , sexy , boisterous , extroverted & more than a little bit crazy ! ”
