 JAIPUR (February 02, 2026): Alila Fort Bishangarh has announced the appointment of Amit Kumar Verma as the property’s Chief Engineer. With over 15 years of experience in hospitality engineering and technical operations, Verma will oversee all engineering and maintenance functions at the 236-year-old heritage fortress hotel.

Originally from Chandigarh, Verma holds a degree from Punjab Technical University and brings extensive cross-brand experience across leading hospitality and commercial organisations. In his new role, he will be responsible for strengthening operational efficiency, sustainability practices, and infrastructure reliability across the property.

Prior to joining Alila Fort Bishangarh, Verma was associated with Hyatt Place Bharuch. Over the course of his career, he has worked with several established brands including ITC, Club Mahindra, Deltron, The Lalit, Radisson, and Phoenix United, where he led engineering operations, preventive maintenance programs, and technical project execution.

Verma is recognised for his adaptable and detail-oriented approach to engineering operations, with a strong focus on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. He believes in leading with integrity and humility, and is driven by a desire to deliver thoughtful, high-impact solutions in complex operating environments.
