Bengaluru, September 15, 2025 – Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal is pleased to announce the appointment of Amirtharaj Michael Antony as Mixologist. With extensive experience across reputed hospitality brands in India and abroad, Michael brings with him creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for enhancing the guest experience through innovative beverages.

Prior to joining Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal, Michael has worked with leading hotels such as JW Marriott Mumbai and Westin Garden City Mumbai, along with international exposure at the Al Abraaj Group of Restaurants in Bahrain. He has been recognized for his inventive cocktails, his craft of creating house-made tonics and infusions and his signature recipes that highlight seasonal ingredients and bold flavors.

At Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal, Michael has introduced his own handcrafted tonics, developed using self-made recipes that balance botanicals and natural flavors. These innovations elevate the bar program and offer guests a truly distinctive and refreshing drinking experience. Known for his engaging interactions with guests, Michael believes in making every beverage a personalized experience. His approachable style and enthusiasm for storytelling allow him to connect with guests, turning each cocktail into not just a drink but a memory.

A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Mumbai, he pursued his passion for mixology with advanced training at the Cocktails & Dreams Beverage School, Mumbai. His unique blend of technical precision and artistic flair continues to define his work behind the bar.

In his new role, Michael will be instrumental in shaping the bar program at Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal, creating memorable experiences for guests while mentoring the next generation of bartenders.
