Courtyard by Marriott Pune Hinjewadi Appoints Mayur S. Modak as Chief Engineer

Pune, Maharashtra – Courtyard by Marriott Pune Hinjewadi is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mayur S. Modak as the Chief Engineer. With over 15 years of extensive experience across hospitality, infrastructure, malls, and the chemical industry, Mayur brings deep technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities to the property.

In his new role, Mayur will oversee the overall engineering operations of the hotel, ensuring optimal performance of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire safety, and water treatment systems. He will lead the engineering team with a focus on preventive maintenance, sustainability initiatives, energy conservation, compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.

Prior to joining Courtyard by Marriott Pune Hinjewadi, Mayur served as Chief Engineer at Fariyas Hotel Lonavala and previously held the position of Chief Engineer at Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad. His earlier career includes key engineering leadership roles at The Orchid Hotel Pune, Renaissance Lucknow Hotel, JW Marriott Hotel Pune, Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort, and JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu.

Throughout his career, Mayur has successfully led pre-opening projects, implemented cost-optimization strategies, strengthened preventive maintenance programs, and driven energy-saving initiatives. His strong focus on operational excellence, team development, and guest satisfaction aligns seamlessly with the brand standards of Marriott International.
