Fariyas Hotels Pvt Ltd appoints Shreenath Shastry as Chief Executive Officer

Fariyas Hotels Private Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Shreenath Shastry as its Chief Executive Officer. This strategic move marks a significant step in the group’s continued commitment to operational excellence and sustained growth across India’s hospitality landscape.

The Fariyas Group is a premier hospitality company, known for its legacy of personalized service, innovation, and delivering unforgettable experiences. The group currently operates three distinguished properties: the iconic Fariyas Resort in Lonavla, the centrally located Fariyas Hotel in Mumbai, and the newly launched Hilton Garden Inn Mumbai International Airport. With several new developments in the pipeline, Fariyas Hotels is poised for expansion in key destinations across India.

Mr. Shastry brings with him over three decades of global leadership experience spanning hospitality management, strategic planning, real estate, and integrated facility management services. His cross-functional expertise and track record of steering large-scale organizations make him a valuable addition to the Fariyas leadership team.

Before rejoining Fariyas Hotels, Mr. Shastry served in various leadership capacities at Wipro Limited over an 11-year tenure. He played a pivotal role in global hospitality management, digital transformation, and real estate optimization. Most recently, he led Wipro’s real estate operations across India, overseeing strategy and transactions.

His professional journey also includes key roles at Knight Frank, Radhakrishna Hospitality Services, Majorda Beach Resort, Taj Group, Sterling Resorts (India) Ltd., and previously with the Fariyas Group, where he last held the position of General Manager – Sales & Marketing. His prior experience with the brand provides him with a deep understanding of the company’s culture, vision, and operations.

Mr. Shastry is an alumnus of Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai, and Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar (XIMB). He has also completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. A lifelong learner, he believes in continuous growth and development.

In his new role as CEO, Mr. Shastry will be responsible for overseeing existing operations and steering the group’s expansion strategy. He will also focus on enhancing guest experiences, implementing innovation-led solutions, and strengthening Fariyas’ position as a leading hospitality brand.
