Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty Appoints Sachin Katoch as Director of Sales

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Sachin Katoch as Director of Sales at Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty.

 Sachin is a MBA graduate in Marketing & Finance from Delhi Business School.

 He started his career as a Sales Executive in February 2012 with the Fariyas Hotel and Resorts handling corporate sales for both Fariyas Resort Lonavala and Fariyas Mumbai. In July 2013, he was promoted as an Assistant Sales Manager.

 In February 2014, Sachin moved to Concept Hospitality as an Assistant Sales Manager. A few months later, he joined Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport as an Assistant Manager Sales.

 Sachin moved to the Fairmont Jaipur in July 2016 initially as a Regional Sales Manager – Mumbai and then at the property as a Sales Manager in June 2017.

 His next assignment was with Hilton Jaipur as Senior Sales Manager in April 2019, where he was subsequently promoted to Associate Director of Sales in January 2022.

 The city of dreams – Mumbai, beckoned with his appointment as Associate Director of Sales at the JW Marriott Juhu Mumbai in July 2022.

 Sachin returned to Fairmont Jaipur in March 2023 as Associate Director of Sales, progressing to Cluster Associate Director of Sales in December 2023 and Director of Events in January 2025, a position he held until joining us.

 Sachin hails from the serene Kangra Valley in Himachal Pradesh. He belongs to the Chandravanshi Rajput Katoch clan — a lineage known for courage, honour, and a deep-rooted tradition of serving  the nation for generations.

How would you describe yourself?

Hospitality sales professional with 12+ years of experience. Passionate about taking on new challenges, learning continuously, and striving for excellence every day. Aspiring to grow into a General Manager role. Worked with different brands like Fairmont, JW Marriott, Hilton and IHG.

 How do you spend your spare time?

I like working out, playing cricket and table tennis.

I feel extremely excited to join Grand Hyatt Kochi and looking forward to contributing to its success.

Striving for excellence in hospitality, with a heart for people and purpose.

 What do few people know about you?

Few people know that I come from three generations of an Army background — my dad and grandpa both served in the Indian Army. That upbringing taught me discipline and teamwork, which I carry into everything I do.
