Mumbai, 5th January 2026 - Grand Hyatt Mumbai, one of India’s leading luxury hospitality landmarks, is pleased to announce the appointment of Namrata Sharma as Area Director of Human Resources.
Namrata brings with her over two decades of extensive experience across luxury hospitality and corporate organizations, with a strong focus on people's strategy, leadership development, organizational culture, and HR excellence. Her professional journey spans prestigious hospitality brands including The Leela, Marriott, Westin, Taj Hotels, and Green Park Hotels & Resorts, along with early-career experience in the corporate sector with 24/7 Customer and Wipro.
Since joining the hospitality industry, Namrata has played a pivotal role in building high-performing teams, strengthening talent pipelines, and fostering inclusive, people-centric workplace cultures.
In her new role as Area Director of Human Resources, Namrata will oversee the people and culture strategy for Grand Hyatt Mumbai and designated Hyatt hotels in the region. Her responsibilities will include talent acquisition and development, succession planning, employee engagement, performance management, and strengthening HR governance frameworks, while championing Hyatt’s values and service culture across all teams.
