Bengaluru, August 20, 2025 - Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Business Park announces the appointment of C. Manikandan as their new Director of Engineering. With over 14 years of experience leading engineering divisions for some of India’s most prestigious hospitality brands, Manikandan will now oversee the engineering operations for this landmark dual-branded complex and convention center.

With an extensive background in hotel engineering, Manikandan has held pivotal positions at some of the industry's renowned properties. As the Director of Engineering at Taj Yeshwantpur and Shangri-La Bengaluru, where he was a key part of the pre-opening team, he demonstrated a proven track record of elevating hotel operations through large-scale projects and seamless pre-opening phases. His earlier experience also includes roles as an Engineering Executive at Hilton Bengaluru Residences and Shift Engineer at The Leela Palace. A leader in his field, Manikandan's expertise lies in implementing advanced, sustainable engineering solutions that ensure both operational excellence and a commitment to environmental responsibility.

He is widely recognized for his innovative initiatives, which include installing IoT-based building management systems, launching energy-saving projects, and commissioning an in-house water bottling plant to significantly reduce single-use plastics. These projects have delivered remarkable cost savings and efficiency gains while championing long-term sustainability.

In his new role, Manikandan will ensure the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and guest comfort. He will manage preventive maintenance programs, lead energy efficiency projects, and ensure the seamless upkeep of all guest and convention center facilities.
