With over 20 years of rich experience in the hospitality industry, Gaurav brings a unique blend of operational excellence, people-centric leadership, and a deep passion for guest experience. A Hotel Management graduate, his journey began with Hyatt as a Guest Service Associate at Hyatt Regency Delhi, a humble start that laid the foundation for a career defined by dedication, growth, and unwavering commitment to hospitality.
Gaurav has held key leadership roles at Hyatt Regency Delhi, and most recently served as Director of Operations at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon. Over the years, he has launched award-winning restaurants, reimagined service standards, and championed employee engagement consistently driving both guest satisfaction and team performance.
What truly sets Gaurav apart is his authentic leadership style, one that’s deeply rooted in empathy, inclusivity, and empowerment. He believes in leading not from a podium, but from the heart, and in building safe, energizing environments where teams feel valued, heard, and inspired to give their best every day.
How would you describe yourself?
I strive to create safe, energizing spaces where people feel valued, heard, and motivated to do their best work. I'm committed to continuous growth for myself and for those I work with and believe in building environments where trust and collaboration come naturally.
How do you spend your spare time?
Spending time with my family is what I enjoy the most. I especially cherish the moments I get to play with my daughter; her energy and laughter are the perfect reminder of what truly matters.
What do a few people know about you?
Cooking is my creative outlet and personal sanctuary. I truly enjoy spending time in the kitchen, especially when preparing meals for people I care about. It brings me a sense of joy, calm, and connection, something deeply fulfilling outside of work.
