KATHMANDU (Aug 15, 2025) Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu is pleased to announce the appointment of Gaurav Malik as the new Director of Food & Beverage. With a solid foundation in Hospitality and Tourism Management and over 14 years of industry experience, Gaurav’s appointment signals a dynamic new chapter for the hotel’s culinary direction.

Gaurav began his hospitality journey in 2011 as a waiter and steadily rose through the ranks, holding key leadership positions such as F&B Outlet Manager and Assistant F&B Manager. His expertise and dedication have been instrumental in several successful pre-openings across prestigious hotel properties. Prior to joining Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu, he served as the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Grand Hyatt Goa.

Among his many achievements, one that stands out is his transformation of an underutilized rooftop in Dubai into a top-tier Nikkei cuisine restaurant, now recognized as one of the city's most iconic dining destination.

Originally from Delhi, India, Gaurav brings not just professional acumen but also a zest for life. He is a cricket enthusiast and passionate about cycling and exploring new places. On top of his bucket list is attending Oktoberfest in Munich.
