Hyatt Place Vadodara Elevates Kris Reynolds to General Manager

Vadodara, India, 15th December 2025: Hyatt Place Vadodara is pleased to announce the appointment of Kris Reynolds as its new General Manager. A dedicated Hyatt stalwart with over 17 years of hospitality experience, Kris’ elevation marks a significant milestone in his career, serving as his first tenure as General Manager after rising through the ranks at the same property.

Kris has been associated with Hyatt Place Vadodara for over 4 years, having joined as part of the pre- opening team in 2021 as Director of Sales. His performance and strategic acumen led to his promotions to Director of Sales & Marketing (2022) and subsequently Assistant General Manager in 2023.

During this time, he played a pivotal role in shaping the reputation of Vadodara’s first Hyatt hotel. As AGM, Kris was instrumental in driving stronger team engagement, optimizing productivity, and significantly enhancing guest satisfaction scores.

Currently a participant in Hyatt’s prestigious General Manager Development Program, Kris brings a distinct competitive advantage to the role: a combination of sharp market understanding, deep operational expertise, and a sales-driven vision.

Hailing from a commercial background, Kris’ journey with Hyatt began at the Hyatt Area Sales Office, where he was appointed Sales Executive in 2010. He then moved to Grand Hyatt Goa as Sales Manager in 2012 and was subsequently elevated to Senior Sales Manager in 2014. In 2015, he moved to the flagship Grand Hyatt Mumbai as Senior Sales Manager, later becoming Associate Director of Sales in 2016. He returned to Grand Hyatt Goa in 2017 as Director of Sales, followed by a stint at Park Hyatt Chennai in 2020. Throughout his career, he has also worked with other notable brands such as Westin Hyderabad and Ramada Powai.

Kris now looks forward to leading Hyatt Place Vadodara into its next phase of revenue growth and service excellence.
