Amritsar, 1 April 2025 – Hyatt Regency Amritsar is pleased to announce the appointment of Ajinkya Kulkarni as its new General Manager. With over a 15years of experience in luxury hospitality, Ajinkya brings exceptional expertise in operations, sales, and marketing, positioning him as an ideal leader to elevate the hotel’s growth and guest experience.

A results-driven professional, Ajinkya has a proven track record in managing large-scale operations, developing strategic business initiatives, and enhancing guest satisfaction. His leadership is defined by operational efficiency, process improvements, and a commitment to excellence, making him a key asset in strengthening Hyatt Regency Amritsar’s position as a premier luxury destination.

Prior to this role, Ajinkya served as Director of Operations at Park Hyatt Hyderabad, where he successfully led multiple departments, optimized cost control strategies, and drove high customer satisfaction. Previously, as Director of Sales & Marketing at Park Hyatt Hyderabad, he played a pivotal role in achieving record-breaking revenue and enhancing brand positioning through innovative marketing strategies.

Ajinkya’s extensive career also includes leadership roles at The Oterra Hotel, Bengaluru, Crowne Plaza Electronics City, Bengaluru, and Oakwood Premier & Oakwood Residence, Pune. Notably, he was part of the opening team for South Bangalore’s first microbrewery, 46 Ounces, contributing to the launch of a pioneering F&B concept in the region.

A graduate of the College of Hotel Management, Travel, and Tourism at Pune University, Ajinkya has been recognized with multiple accolades, including Head of Department of the Year at Crowne Plaza Bengaluru and Highest Revenue Generation Leader for IHG in 2017.

As General Manager, Ajinkya aims to enhance guest experiences, streamline operations, and introduce innovative initiatives that reflect Hyatt’s global hospitality standards while celebrating Amritsar’s rich culture and heritage.
