Bangkok, Thailand: The InterContinental Khao Yai Resort today announced the appointment of Chin Pitak Norathepkitti as the resort's new general manager, effective June 16, 2025. With his extensive experience in luxury hospitality across Southeast Asia's most distinguished properties, Chin will provide strategic leadership to the resort's senior management and operations teams. Leveraging his expertise in commercial performance and cultural storytelling, he will position InterContinental Khao Yai Resort as one of Asia's premier luxury destinations.

A well-respected figure in the international hospitality scene, Chin brings nearly two decades of leadership experience across Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos to the InterContinental family. His achievements include the curation of culturally immersive guest experiences and raising the benchmark for service excellence while honoring local heritage and traditions. Most recently, he was recognized as #4 Best General Manager in Thailand at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2025, highlighting his exceptional leadership and commitment to hospitality excellence.

Prior to joining InterContinental Khao Yai Resort, Chin served as General Manager of Anantara Chiang Mai Resort & Anantara Chiang Mai Serviced Suites, where he led the team with passion and precision since May 2022. Before that, he successfully managed Anantara Angkor Resort & Spa and held the position of Cluster General Manager at Sofitel Luang Prabang & 3 Nagas Luang Prabang (MGallery), where he was responsible for operational excellence and strategic business development.

Chin's professional journey includes senior leadership roles at some of the region's most prestigious properties, including Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok (now Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel), and The Peninsula Bangkok. His dynamic and creative approach to career development has been complemented by progressive leadership across multiple luxury brands.
