Jaisalmer, Rajasthan – 06 November 2025 – Jaisalmer Marriott Resort & Spa is delighted to announce the  appointment of Nikhil Kher as General Manager, further strengthening the resort’s leadership as it continues  to establish itself among Rajasthan’s most distinguished luxury destinations. 

With an illustrious career spanning over 25 years in luxury hospitality, Nikhil Kher brings with him extensive  experience in operations, brand building, and guest experience management across some of India’s most  prestigious hotel brands. Known for his strategic insight and hands-on leadership, he has successfully led teams  to achieve operational excellence, elevate service standards, and deliver memorable guest experiences that  embody both authenticity and sophistication. 

In his new role as General Manager, Nikhil will oversee the complete operations of Jaisalmer Marriott Resort &  Spa, driving performance across rooms, wellness, dining, and guest engagement. He will be responsible for  steering the resort’s business strategy, strengthening its market positioning, and ensuring that every aspect of  the guest journey reflects the warmth and heritage of Rajasthan. Under his leadership, the resort aims to further  enhance its reputation as a destination where luxury is seamlessly interwoven with culture and storytelling. 

Prior to joining Jaisalmer Marriott Resort & Spa, Nikhil held leadership positions across several reputed  hospitality brands, where he played an instrumental role in improving operational metrics, expanding market  reach, and fostering a culture of excellence among teams. His professional journey is marked by an unwavering  commitment to guest satisfaction, attention to detail, and a passion for nurturing future hospitality leaders.
