JW Marriott Kolkata Appoints Junaid Saifi as IT Manager

JW Marriott Kolkata is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Junaid Saifi as the new Information Technology (IT) Manager, reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to technological advancement, digital innovation, and seamless operational excellence. With over five years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure development, and digital transformation, Junaid joins the leadership team with a reputation for being one of the youngest and most dynamic Multi-Property IT Managers in the Marriott portfolio.

A postgraduate in Master of Computer Applications from KIIT University and a Bachelor of Computer Applications from Agra University, Junaid’s academic foundation is deeply rooted in technology. His natural aptitude for problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset has made him a standout professional in the hospitality technology space.

Prior to this role, Junaid served as the Multi-Property IT Manager for Four Points by Sheraton Srinagar and Sonmarg, where he played a critical role in streamlining IT operations and driving pre-opening technical readiness. His leadership was instrumental in launching Four Points by Sheraton Sonmarg in 2024, overseeing full IT infrastructure setup, security implementation, and system integration. His career journey also includes valuable experience at The Oberoi, Gurgaon, and Manappuram Finance, where he was engaged in systems migration, infrastructure optimization, cybersecurity protocols, and enterprise application management.

At JW Marriott Kolkata, Junaid will lead the strategic execution of Marriott’s global IT platforms, ensuring flawless integration with property-specific operations. He will oversee infrastructure management, cybersecurity, systems performance, and compliance standards, while driving digital transformation initiatives to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
