Goa, February 2, 2026 – Novotel announces the appointment of Mr. Amit Sangwan as Cluster General Manager of Novotel Goa Candolim and Novotel Goa Resort & Spa.

A seasoned hospitality leader with over two decades of experience, Amit brings extensive expertise in operational excellence, guest experience transformation, and people-centric leadership across luxury, upper-upscale, and business hotel segments. He joins the Novotel Candolim complex from Novotel Ahmedabad, where he served as General Manager since May 2023, successfully driving strong commercial performance, operational efficiencies, and consistently high guest satisfaction.

Widely recognised for his leadership capabilities, Amit has received several prestigious industry accolades, including being named among the Top 5 General Managers of Business Hotels at the Hospitality Horizon Awards 2024, Gujarat’s Best General Manager by the CMO Asia Awards, and Most Admired GM of the Year at the International Hospitality & Travel Awards. His career spans leadership roles with renowned hotel brands, overseeing large-scale operations, complex food and beverage portfolios, pre-opening projects, and destination-led resorts.

In his new role, Amit will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational performance, and commercial growth of both properties. His focus will be on strengthening brand positioning, enhancing guest experiences, and driving sustainable growth across leisure, MICE, and food and beverage offerings.
