Novotel Guwahati GS Road Appoints Pallavi Das as Chef de Cuisine

Novotel Guwahati GS Road, a leading hotel in the heart of Guwahati, is proud to announce the appointment of Pallavi Das, a passionate and talented culinary professional, as its new Chef de Cuisine. With an impressive background in Western cuisine, Pallavi blends classical techniques with modern presentation to craft elevated dining experiences.

Prior to joining Novotel Guwahati GS Road, Pallavi served as the Sous Chef at Courtyard by Marriott, Chennai, where she played a key leadership role under the Executive Chef. She was instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, maintaining high culinary standards, team coordination, and overall operational efficiency.

Her professional journey began in 2011 and includes experience with some of the most renowned hospitality brands such as Eros Hotel managed by Hilton, ibis Aerocity Delhi, Novotel Kolkata, Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott Bangalore, Holiday Inn IT Expressway, and Courtyard Marriott Chennai. She also brings valuable international exposure from her tenure at Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah in Muscat, Oman.

Pallavi holds a Culinary Diploma in Food Production and Patisserie from the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Home Science from Handique Girls’ College, where she was a department topper and silver medalist.

Her strong academic background combined with diverse, hands-on experience has shaped her into a well-rounded and innovative culinary leader.
