Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences is pleased to announce the appointment of Rana Mukherjee as Executive Sous Chef. With a dynamic culinary career spanning across prestigious hospitality brands including Marriott, Westin, Sheraton, and Intercontinental, Chef Rana brings with him a wealth of experience in pre-openings, large-format banquet operations, and high-performance team leadership. A graduate of the Institute of Management Studies, Delhi, Chef Rana began his culinary journey at Fariyas Resort, Lonavla, and went on to refine his global perspective at Pars International in Bahrain.

Speaking on his appointment, General Manager Rajneesh Kumar shared, “We are thrilled to welcome Chef Rana Mukherjee to the Novotel Kolkata family. His deep-rooted passion for culinary excellence and his proven ability to lead high-performing teams aligns perfectly with our vision of offering memorable gastronomic experiences. Over the years, he has successfully led key openings and operational turnarounds for properties such as JW Marriott Pune, Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield, Courtyard by Marriott Ranchi, and The Westin Kolkata. Known for his creativity, consistency, and

commitment to excellence, Chef Rana has a proven track record in delivering elevated guest experiences while upholding the highest standards of food quality and safety.
