Chef Somasundaram is a conscientious culinary professional who blends creativity with precision, leading with passion, technical skill, and organizational strength. His goal is to craft exceptional dining experiences that reflect the spirit of the resort while pushing culinary boundaries.
His impressive journey includes leadership roles at Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel, Shikar at Maxwell Reserve Singapore, and Courtyard by Marriott Madurai, among others. A graduate of the Madras Institute of Hotel Management, Chef Somasundaram is certified in food safety, culinary innovation, and restaurant operations, and has been recognized for his 10-year tenure with Marriott International.
