Mumbai, November 2025: Sofitel Mumbai BKC is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Neha Chhabra as its new General Manager. With over two decades of experience in luxury and business hospitality, Neha brings with her a deep understanding of operations, guest experience, and brand excellence—qualities that perfectly align with Sofitel’s distinctive French zest and French Art de Vivre, the French art of living.
A seasoned hotelier and dynamic leader, Neha has helmed several prestigious properties under renowned hospitality brands. Most recently, she served as General Manager at JW Marriott Goa, where she successfully positioned the hotel as one of North Goa’s foremost luxury destinations. Under her leadership, the property earned over 27 industry accolades, including recognitions from Travel + Leisure India, Condé Nast Traveler, and the HICSA Hotel of the Year 2024.
Prior to that, Neha served as General Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal, where she led her team with innovation and agility through the pandemic, driving both operational excellence and strong financial performance. Her earlier leadership roles at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, The Trident Bandra Kurla, and The Oberoi New Delhi further strengthened her expertise in elevating service standards and enhancing guest satisfaction across diverse luxury environments.
Widely recognized for her people-first leadership and commitment to excellence, Neha has received several prestigious accolades, including Goa’s Best General Manager 2024 (CMO Asia), Leadership Excellence 2022 (APEC GM Awards), and Diamond General Manager of the Year 2021–22 (Global, Courtyard Brand). She has also been honored among the Most Fabulous Women Leaders in Hospitality and as Hotel Manager of the Year 2019 by BW Hotelier and Stelliers South Asia.
