New Delhi, 23rd May 2025: Taj Mahal, New Delhi is pleased to announce the appointment of Chef Kaushik Misra as its new Executive Chef. With over two decades of culinary expertise spanning prestigious properties across India and the Middle East, Chef Kaushik brings with him a rich repertoire of global culinary influences and creative innovation to the Capital’s premier address.
Chef Misra joins Taj Mahal, New Delhi after a successful tenure at Taj Westend, Bengaluru, where he was instrumental in launching Loya and The Chambers. He has held leadership positions at several prestigious establishments including Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Andamans, Blue Diamond, Pune – IHCL SeleQtions, and Hotels in Dubai and Hyderabad. He is an alumnus of IHM Mumbai and started his culinary journey as a Taj Management Trainee. Known for his creative fusion of traditional techniques with contemporary presentation, Chef Misra specialises in Italian, Indian, Asian and French cuisines. Through his illustrious career, he has been privileged to work with celebrated master chefs including Alex Bignoti, Luca Voncini, Chef K. Natarajan, and Chef Chalapathi Raju, and developed a deep appreciation for authentic flavours while bringing his unique vision to the table.
