These strategic leadership placements in key business and leisure locations including Sakleshpur, Jalna, Goa, Igatpuri and Junagadh are designed to strengthen on-ground management, enhance operational efficiency and elevate guest experiences across the brand’s growing portfolio.

Barun Nayak - General Manager, Tapovana The Fern Heritage Resort, Sakleshpur

With 28 years of experience in the hospitality industry spanning hotel operations and holiday activity management, Barun Nayak brings extensive expertise to his role as General Manager at Tapovana The Fern Heritage Resort, Sakleshpur.

In this role, Barun will oversee hotel operations, manage budgets and ensure the achievement of gross operating profit targets. His professional journey includes key roles at reputed hospitality brands such as Club Mahindra Holidays and Sterling Holidays where he consistently demonstrated operational excellence and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

Chandan Chowdhury - General Manager, Siddharth The Fern An Ecotel Hotel, Jalna

Chandan Chowdhury brings over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry with deep expertise in food and beverage operations, guest experience and hotel management.

An alumnus of the Institute of Hotel and Restaurant Management (IHRM) Kolkata, he has worked with leading brands such as Jaypee Group, InterContinental and The Lalit.

Prior to this, he held leadership positions at Le Royal Meridien Chennai and most recently served as Director of Food and Beverage at Hotel Royal Orchid Bangalore. In his new role, Chandan will be responsible for overseeing hotel operations, driving business growth, enhancing guest satisfaction and reinforcing the brand’s commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly hospitality.

Anshu Mishra - General Manager, The Fern Residency Calangute- Baga, Goa

With 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Anshu Mishra brings strong operational insight and leadership expertise to his role at The Fern Residency Calangute Baga, Goa.

An alumnus of IHM Gurdaspur, Punjab with a B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, his career reflects a successful track record in hotel pre-openings, budgeting, operational streamlining and brand standards implementation. He has previously worked with brands such as Lemon Tree Hotels, Evoke Hotels etc. Before joining The Fern Hotels & Resorts, Anshu served as Cluster General Manager at Evoke Hotels, Goa where he led three properties with a combined inventory of over 120 rooms.

In his new role, he will focus on delivering operational excellence, strengthening team capabilities and enhancing the hotel’s regional presence through consistent service and brand value creation.

Joseph Jacob - General Manager, Rakabi The Fern-An Ecotel Hotel, Igatpuri

Beginning his career in the Food & Beverage department, Joseph has steadily progressed through key leadership roles, culminating in over twelve years of experience as a General Manager. With 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Vivek Dubey brings strategic leadership and operational excellence to his role at The Fern Leo Resort and Club, Junagadh.

Beginning his career in Food & Beverage, Vivek has steadily advanced through a series of leadership positions, building a strong foundation in guest-centric hospitality and business performance.
