These promotions reflect the company’s continued focus on operational excellence, guest experience and sustainable growth across its diverse portfolio.

 Arindam Bahel: General Manager – Operations

With over two decades of experience across luxury resorts, boutique hotels and international assignments, Arindam Bahel has been promoted to General Manager - Operations at The Fern Hotels & Resorts. Based at The Fern Brentwood Resort & Spa, Mussoorie, his tenure has been marked by remarkable transformations in guest satisfaction, operational stability and brand reputation. Arindam’s journey began as a Management Trainee at The Orchid Mumbai, rising through the culinary ranks to become Executive Chef at flagship properties before transitioning into senior leadership roles. He has helmed prestigious hotels including The Ananta Udaipur and Hotel Yak & Yeti, Nepal, where he managed state banquets for international dignitaries and oversaw one of Nepal’s largest convention centres.
His unique trajectory from the kitchen to the Boardroom brings a deep, hands-on leadership approach. His guest-first thinking has earned him industry accolades such as ‘Best General Manager of the Year’ (2022–23). In his new role, Arindam will focus on strengthening synergy across hill, pilgrimage and eco-tourism destinations, while nurturing talent pipelines and enhancing property-level resilience and profitability.

 Gautam Banerjee: General Manager – Operations

Gautam Banerjee has been elevated to General Manager – Operations at The Fern Hotels & Resorts. With a rich experience spanning three decades, Gautam began his hospitality journey with Ras Resorts Silvassa in June 1995 and has since held leadership positions across renowned hotel chains including Kamat Hotels India Ltd., Absolute Hotels, O Hotel and Quality Inn Hotels.

He has been instrumental in turning around non-performing hotel units into profitable, revenue-generating properties with a strong focus on food and beverage operations. In his new role, he will oversee operations for a cluster of hotels in Maharashtra under The Fern and Beacon brands. His deep operational knowledge and results-driven approach will continue to add value across the portfolio.

 Rajib Das: General Manager – Operations

Rajib Das

Rajib Das has been promoted to General Manager – Operations at The Fern Hotels & Resorts, where he will oversee operations for five hotels in Maharashtra under The Fern brand. With over 24 years of industry experience, Rajib brings core expertise in hotel operations, F&B management, guest experience and cost optimization.

He has worked with top hospitality brands including The Park, Premier Inn, Taj Exotica and InterContinental Goa. A diploma holder in Hotel Management, Rajib has also completed professional training from the prestigious Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne. His operational leadership is marked by a keen focus on quality, efficiency and service excellence.
