The St. Regis Goa Resort is pleased to announce the appointment of Biswajit Patra as the Head Chef for its signature Pan-Asian restaurant, Riverside. With over 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality and a deep-rooted expertise in Japanese, Thai, and Chinese cuisines, Chef Biswajit brings a refined culinary vision to the riverside dining experience.

Chef Biswajit joins the St. Regis team from the (ZLB 23 - Mordan Japanese) at The Leela Palace. His career is distinguished by tenures at some of India’s most prestigious kitchens, including Conrad (Mikusu- Pan Asian) Bengaluru, the iconic ‘Edo’ at ITC Gardenia (Edo- japanese) and The Leela palace ( Zen - Pan Asian) Bengaluru. Known for his technical precision in sushi-making and his innovative approach to sustainable, locally sourced ingredients, Chef Biswajit has a proven track record of elevating specialty brands.

In his new role at Riverside, Chef Biswajit will oversee menu innovation, kitchen operations, and the curation of bespoke culinary events. His expertise in handling high-profile events - ranging from high profile weddings to exclusive wine dinners - will further strengthen Riverside’s position as a premier destination for discerning gourmands in Goa.
