Chennai: The Westin Chennai Velachery is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Anand Raghuraman as its new Chief Engineer. A passionate hotelier and results-driven professional, Anand brings with him over 20 years of rich experience in the hospitality industry.

In his new role, he will oversee all engineering operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and operational excellence across the property.

Prior to joining The Westin Chennai Velachery, Anand has worked with some of India’s most esteemed hospitality brands, including IHCL, Marriott International, The Ascott Limited, and Mahindra Holidays, gaining extensive expertise across diverse hotel formats and operations. Anand is a Bachelor of Engineering graduate from Annamalai University.

Known for his energetic and affable leadership style, he is deeply committed to people development and strongly believes in fostering positive colleague interactions and collaborative working relationships.

Outside of work, Anand enjoys spending quality time with his family in Chennai. He is an avid biking enthusiast and has a deep appreciation for soulful music.
