The Westin Pune Koregaon Park Appoints Satyabrat Sandha as Director of Finance

Strengthening its leadership team with a seasoned finance professional, The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, part of Marriott International, has appointed Satyabrat Sandha as Director of Finance.

An MBA in Finance with over 15 years of rich experience across hospitality finance, accounting, auditing, taxation and statutory compliance, Satyabrat brings deep expertise in financial stewardship, strategic planning and operational excellence. In his new role, he will work closely with the General Manager and the hotel’s leadership team to ensure financial discipline, regulatory compliance and alignment of fiscal strategy with the property’s long-term business objectives.

Prior to this appointment, Satyabrat served as Cluster Director of Finance – ANZP with Marriott International, overseeing finance operations for Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey’s Hotel & Bungalows and Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort. His professional journey also includes key leadership roles at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa as Director of Finance and Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park, where he held multiple finance leadership positions during his tenure with Marriott International and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Known for his strong business acumen and collaborative leadership style, Satyabrat has extensive experience in budgeting and variance analysis, MIS reporting, auditing, taxation and internal controls, along with a proven ability to streamline processes and implement cost-effective solutions. He has also played a pivotal role in several Marriott International pre-openings, contributing to the successful establishment of financial systems, talent onboarding and brand-compliant operations.

His excellence in hospitality finance has been widely recognised, including the Hotelier India Awards 2024 – Finance Person of the Year, Gold Award – Admin and Finance Champion of the Year 2023, and Silver Award – Admin and Finance Champion of the Year 2022 at the India Hospitality Excellence Awards. Additionally, he received the Talent Development Award from Marriott International South Asia Finance (2023) for his significant contribution to building and nurturing high-performing finance teams.
