Bengaluru, 2nd February 2026 – Treebo Hospitality Ventures (THV) today announced a significant addition to its leadership team with the appointment of Gaurav Misra as Executive Vice President & Head – Mid-Market Business. In this role, Gaurav will lead THV’s fast-expanding mid-market portfolio, which comprises its own boutique lifestyle brand, ‘Medalio’, top global brands licensed by THV under its strategic partnership with Accor, ‘Mercure’, ‘Ibis’, ‘Ibis Styles’, and ‘Ibis Budget’, and the ‘Park Inn & Suites by Radisson’ brand licensed under its partnership with Radisson Hotel Group.
Gaurav brings over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, spanning asset management, operations, and brand leadership across some of the world’s most respected hotel groups. He joins THV from SAMHI Hotels, where he served as Vice President – Asset Management, working closely with global brands such as Marriott, Hyatt and IHG to drive operational performance, asset optimisation, and long-term value creation across a large institutional portfolio.
Prior to SAMHI, Gaurav held senior leadership roles at Radisson Hotel Group, IHG, Hyatt, and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. At IHG, he led operations for the Holiday Inn Express portfolio in India, playing a key role in driving consistency, profitability and brand standards across multiple hotels. He is an alumnus of the Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development (OCLD) and IHM Lucknow.

THV’s mid-market strategy has gained significant momentum in recent times. Last year, the company announced a landmark strategic partnership with Accor and InterGlobe Enterprises, under which it became the exclusive pan-India master franchisee for Accor’s Ibis and Mercure brands. This partnership significantly strengthened THV’s presence in the organised mid-market segment, combining Accor’s global brand equity with THV’s tech-led operating model, deep market know-how, and a strong commercial engine. Shortly before that, THV launched, Medalio, a boutique lifestyle brand targeted at small-format hotels, often under 50 keys, which offer a design-led, wholesome, and experiential hospitality offering for aspiring professionals and modern travellers.
