Udaipur, India – Udaipur Marriott Hotel is pleased to announce the appointment of Tapan Mudgal as the new Director of Food & Beverage.
In his new role, Tapan will lead the overall Food & Beverage operations at the 226-key Udaipur Marriott Hotel. He will be responsible for overseeing all culinary and service aspects across the hotel’s restaurants, lounges, and banqueting venues. His focus will be on enhancing guest experiences, driving revenue, maintaining quality standards, and leading a strong team of over 90 associates.
Tapan brings with him over 18 years of extensive experience in the luxury hospitality industry. Prior to joining Udaipur Marriott, he held senior F&B leadership roles at Jaipur Marriott, JW Marriott Chandigarh, InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram, and Fairmont Jaipur, among others. He has been a part of Udaipur Marriott since its pre-opening phase in January 2025, contributing significantly to operational readiness, team building, and F&B planning.
Throughout his career, Tapan has been known for delivering consistent results in guest satisfaction, financial performance, and service excellence. He has successfully managed large-scale events including high-profile weddings, IPL catering, and General Managers’ Conferences. His ability to balance creativity with operational efficiency has made him a valued leader in the hospitality sector.
