Decked out with a combination of gracious service, inventive food, stylish décor and stunning ambience to ensure Vintage Asia is always a hit among its patrons, Oriental Specialty Expat Chef Alexsander will put forward his ingenuity in his maiden visit to India.

Chef Alexander brings a global reputation with his association in the hospitality industry for over 15 years by championing the culinary craft of Oriental cuisine from diverse nations.After spending 9 years in Taiwan ,to master the craft of Chinese cuisine, in his stints with Pig N Whistle British Restaurant, Taiwan as Demi Chef de Partie, Lakeshore Hotel, Taiwan as Commis de Partie, Crown Western Restaurant, Taiwan as Sous Chef and Fenice Restaurant, Taiwan as Chinese Chef De Cuisine following which he concluded his Taiwan memoir with Sous Chef Banquet Chinese in Sheraton Hotel, Taiwan. His next strategic step was moving to Indonesia where he enhanced his skills and expertise by working as a Sous Chef at Japanese Cuisine Market and Spice Market restaurant owned by 3 – star Michelin Chef Jean George Vongerichten serving South East Asian cuisine. Before his maiden India visit to take up the key position of Specialty Oriental Expat Chef at Vintage Asia, he served as Chinese Chef De Cuisine at Shangri – la Hotel.

The duet between Vintage Asia and Chef Alexander will most certainly have the epicurean cachet intrigued by the scrumptious Asian reinvention of Far East favorites. Oriental food fanatics can expect nothing but the best from the east with this lavish menu at Vintage Asia, which will include delicacies like king of oriental cuisine ‘Golden Swan Fried Dumplings’ crafted with passion for the dim sum lovers. ‘Steamed Mushroom Bun in Vegetable Mushroom filling’ made with exotic vegetables in varied combinations to stir up the vegetarian palate.A lot of ingredients designed in the menu are of local origin and some are international to keep the flavors intact. An oriental cuisine mandate includes classic dim sums and the Chef will delight patrons with evergreen ‘Mushroom Bao’and ‘Prawn Bao’. The range of appetizers will leave no stone unturned for our craving palate, ‘Crispy French Beans garlic Salt and Pepper’, ‘Chilli Basil Crispy Potato’, ‘Duck and Litchi Salad’ and ‘Chicken Chinese Peppercorn Fragrant Salt’ will build our initial appetite. Another highlight of the new menu will be ‘Lobster Chinese Lamian Noodles’ where the plating is adventurous, on long plates that look like lobsters with lobster head in front and tail at the end, ‘Hakka style Chicken and egg noodles’, ‘Wok tossed rice in Black truffle oil’, ‘Mei Fun and Vegetable in spicy Oyester sauce’ are some innovative rice and noodles made with expertise. ‘Stir Fried Chill Crab in Singaporean Sauce’ is another specialty from our versatile chef to increase the sea food cravings.

Local crab is deep fried till the time the taste and texture is inexplicably delicious with an interesting blend of fragrant vegetables. The exhaustive list will engage your taste buds on ‘Homemade Bean curd with Spinach in Oyster sauce’ where boiled spinach is garnished with bean curd followed by oyster sauce to elevate the gastronomic experiences. ‘Thai Red Prawn Curry, coconut cream, Thai sweet basil’, ‘Cantonese Tender Chicken ginger sauce’ are new additions from Chef Alexander. The sea food lovers have an array of gourmet selections in the new menu, ‘Wok – fried Prawn Garden Greens XO Sauce’, ‘Steam Betki Fillet Chinese Garlic Soy Sauce’, ‘Sauteed Rock Lobster Sichuan Chilli Sauce’ and ‘Singaporean Chilli Crab’ is a must have from Chef Alexander’s box of surprises.
