13th July 2022, Mumbai: The Monsoons are here in full force and a lot of us are just looking to tuck into all things that are warm and comforting. Since the gloomy weather makes us feel like hot, soupy and crunchy food, the team at Nho Saigon have put together a special menu that serves up to your rainy day mood and transports you to Vietnam at that very instant.
While Vietnam is known for its remarkable landscapes and cultural complexities, Vietnamese Food is an amalgamation of incredible taste and contrasting textures. It is surely one of the most coveted of the Southeast Asian cuisines, often made from simple ingredients with complex yet exciting flavors it’s their take on balance. The Chinese and French influences bring about bitter, sour, spicy, sweet, and salty flavors in the cuisine that make for perfect monsoon food.
Nho Saigon’s monsoon menu features dishes like Flat Rice Noodles Tossed with Peanuts & Fermented Chili Sauce (Veg/Chicken), Sticky Chili Basil Fried Rice (Veg/Chicken), Vietnamese Chicken Wings, Wok Fried Prawns With Morning Glory and not to be missed the most comforting Pho, a Vietnamese soup consisting of broth, rice noodles, herbs, and meat.
The monsoon menu also features interesting cocktails that will definitely keep you warm this monsoon like the Hot Buttered Rum, Forgotten Hot Toddy and Origins Hot Mulled Mead. However, to keep things alive they’ve put together some refreshing mocktails like Pomocucumber, Pineginger Peach And Spice & Everything Nice.
