A true celebration of #ForeverNo1Yaari with McDowell’s No1 Soda and KK’s friends

Mumbai, 23rd August 2022: Tuesdays have never been so beautiful and meaningful as today. Music enthusiasts from Mumbai were in 7th heaven as they got to experience a one-of-a-kind ‘The KK forever concert’ at Phoenix Market City, Kurla, Mumbai. Organized by McDowell’s No1 Soda, the extra special No1 Yaari Jam presented “KK Forever Concert”, bringing together celebrated stalwarts from the music industry like Papon, Shaan, Pritam, Leslee Lewis, Benny Dayal and Dhvani Bhanushali. KK’s children Nakul Kunnath and Tamara Kunnath also joined in to lend their soothing voices to relive the magic of sound created by KK.

The concert is a follow-through after McDowell’s No1 Soda re-created the iconic “Yaaron” song by KK with his children as well as friends from the fraternity, such as Shaan, Papon, Leslee, Dhwani, Benny, etc., to celebrate friendship in this month of Friendship Day.

The concert was a sea of nostalgia as the artists paid their heartfelt ode to KK by singing his original music. Besides this, Mumbaikars also witnessed a splendid rendition of late artists’ classics by KK’s original band. The venue was filled with KK’s fans together chiming the eternal hits by KK, leaving many with tears of joy and hearts reignited with undying love for the legend.

KK had a wonderful and charming personality, and that made me mentor him. Through this concert, I wanted people to experience KK’s true and pure nature and relive his magical pieces that are not to be forgotten ever.
