Bangalore 3^rd May 2019: In a city bustling with eateries and a vibrant nightlife, Bangalore’s multi-cultural melting pot has a new addition to its repertoire. Welcoming, quirky and with a sense of the familiar, KA.01 the spanking new rooftop bar and eats, at ibis Bengaluru City Center opened its doors on May 2^nd. In attendance at the glittering evening, were the who’s who of the city, food connoisseurs, gourmands and eminent business personalities.

Located in the heart of the city, a stone’s throw away from the main CBD, the rooftop watering hole is set to be a hotspot for those looking for delicious affordable food and drinks. Curios line its tables and the coasters are collectors’ items, but what makes this place truly stand out is the curated culinary, exciting signature cocktails and specialized dishes for the seasoned palate.

KA.01 resonates a strong sense of nostalgia through its retro elements and also invokes a sense of fun with its bright interiors and LED one liners.  The outlet creates a visual imagery which evokes memories of late-night drives ending in front of familiar road side eateries always serving delicious food. The bar has a capacity of 54 seats creating a sense of coziness with expansive city views. Food is served out of a truck and the drinks are prepared in a converted van, making this a must visit place.

Bringing closer the experience of after-hours snacking at Moolchand paranthe wala in Delhi or at Bade Miyan in Mumbai, from Richmond Road in Bengaluru to Ballygunge in Kolkata.

The drinks are an ode to Bangalore, named after different RTO zones, so you can kick back with a KA.04 Yeshwantpur in your hands or reminisce with a refreshing drink of vodka and filter coffee aptly called KA.57 Shantinagar. The food is a celebration of the streets of India where Haleem, Kebabs, Mirchi Bhajji, Prawns Thokku, Tava Idli and Karandi Omlette vie for your attention. The rooftop bar and eats, lets you try as many as you like without blowing your diet plans with firmfavourites available in quarter, half and full plates sizes ensuring you get the best bang for your buck.
