The festival steps in its 10th year as the brand also completed a decade’s journey. Oudh 1590 aims to provide a true “period dining” experience of the glorious bygone era to each diner. It was born out of elaborate research on the culture and cuisine of Awadh (modern-day Lucknow) and is the co-founders’ gift to Kolkata, the city of gourmets. Bawarchis with considerable experience, those who have spent years perfecting their art of Biryani have been roped in to create the authentic dishes. Oudh 1590 is conveniently located across the length & breadth of Kolkata, from East to West and North to South, wherein the restaurants boast of a period look recreating the 16th Century India feel.
