Parle-G, a brand which can be seen in each and every home of India. A well-trusted brand for biscuits which is loved by all generations. It is very disrespectful of this brand to be involved in child labor. The District Task Force(DTF) of Raipur has rescued 26 children from the manufacturing factory of Parle-G. The operation was conducted after the BBA received the information that a large number of children are stuck in the factory in Amasivni area in Raipur.

The rescued children are of the age group of 12-16 years. They worked in the factory for 12 hours a day and received limited wages between 5000 to 7000. Parle-G a well-trusted brand being involved in child exploitation is disheartening news for the Hospitality Industry. The children were sent to the state government’s childhood home and an FIR has been registered under section 79 of JJ Act.
