PISTA KHAJUR BALL

Serves: 6

INGREDIENT:

  • Cashew nut - 100gm
  • Pista - 100gm
  • Dates - 300gm
  • Almond - 100gm
  • Dry sweet cherry- 50gm
  • Pista chopped - 100gm 

METHOD:

  • In a blender add 50 gms of almonds and 50gms of pista  and all the cashew nuts. Grind until it is a fine powder.
  • Add dates and dry sweet cherries and blend until the mix reaches dough like consistency.
  • Place the dough in a bowl and knead to remove any lumps.
  • Divide dough into six equal parts and shape into lemon size balls. 
  • Coarsely grind the remaining almonds and pistas seperately into a powder and keep aside.
  • Coat the balls in the ground almond powder.
  • Finally, garnish coarsely ground pista.
