New Update
Politics Pe Charcha at Khar Social

Description:

Citizens Converge aims to make politics and policy-making more informed, transparent and participatory. We seek to create and facilitate the continuous engagement of citizens and elected representatives for the development
of a dialogue-driven democracy, facilitating a dialogue between the elected representatives and citizens in the city of Mumbai.

Politics pe Charcha is our first event on 7th April, bridging the deep-seated disconnect between citizens and Electoral Representatives. It'll be an open-discussion (of course a fun one!) about what our politics
looks like and should look like, in a run-up to the 2019 elections with some of our Elected representatives. We have Ashish Shelar (MLA, BJP Mumbai President) and Priya Dutt (ex-MP, INC) attending this event who will be sharing their experiences as elected
representatives.

We know it's not easy to figure out what politics is from the constant bickering of politicians and news anchors on television, and it seems that what the 'nation wants to know', isn't remotely close to what you want to know.

So join in for an interesting dialogue over a few beverages, that aims to talk over the noise.

This event will end with a fun quiz on politics in our country. So get your friends along. It’s a free-to-attend event.

Date: Sunday, 7th April 2019
