Sanskriti University organized webinar on Development and challanges in the hospitality and tourism sector after pandemic.

Sanskriti University School of Tourism and Hospitality organized the Punjabi Food Festival which featured popular cuisines of the state. The students under the guidance of their teachers planned and successfully executed this food festival.

“The festival was organised with a motive to give practical experience to the budding chefs and service personnel which will help them in developing their skills and talent. Also, such festivals help students to learn teamwork, leadership, planning with overall management skills.”

The students dressed in traditional outfits served the guests, assuring that the guests had a gala time at the festival. Traditional art forms of dance and music of the state were presented during the festival to keep the crowd entertained during the festival. The presence of famed personalities of the hotel industry graced the occasion and appreciated the students for their hard work towards the event.

Appetizing Punjabi dishes included starters like Murg Malai Tikka Pahadi Tikka, Paneer Tikka, Keema Kebab, Hot tandoori chicken, malai kebabs, tandoori aloo and paneer tikka. The perfectly prepared main course included preparation of Murg Makhani, Sarson Da Saag with Makke di roti, Punjabi favourites – Rajma Chawal , Kadhi chawal and Chhole Bhature , dahi bhalla were served.

University Students, faculty and staff members along with their families visited this food fest and enjoyed the delicacies.
