Pure Hearts Soul Beats – A Fundraiser Concert for Visually Impaired At Saints & Sinners

With Children's Day in November, 'Soul Beats' a musical fundraiser concert was organized by Pure Hearts (an NGO by children for children in need) in collaboration with Saint n Sinners in Gurugram on 3rd November '19. It was an evening of music and a community coming together in dedication to the spirit of inclusion, acceptance and celebration for the visually impaired children and the blind. The concert raised funds for the special movie screening for the children without sight and to bring them a total movie experience and a world of imagination.

Playing musical notes to bring darkness to light floated in the melody of the live performances from the best in the music industry. The soulful vocals by Ankur Gupta, a visually impaired artist (of International/ National fame) was an inspiration and celebration of his uniqueness and grit. The renowned musician Subir Malik - Suryansh Project and musicians from Program played mesmerizing pop and rock music. Gavin Pacheco of Program an instrumental trio said that "Musicians are proud to contribute towards the visually impaired through music that reaches out to every heart".

The evening saw rocking performances by young student music bands from various schools in Gurugram, namely The Shri Ram School Moulsari, Pathways School Gurugram and Heritage Experiential Learning School.

Speaking on the event Vishal Anand, founder, Saints n Sinners said that, "In our ongoing endeavour to support good causes, It’s heartening & fulfilling to see NGO’s like Pure Hearts & the Student Community come together to create such a fantastic musical experience. The proceeds from the event will go towards special screening of a movie for 1200 visually impaired students”.

The evening kept the audience enthralled and tapping to the beats of melody and rhythm of electrifying performances. Rachna Gupta, a parent who was present to cheer the young musicians said that, "I feel really proud that our children are growing up as sensitive individuals and are contributing to the upliftment of the society".

Navita Sharma shared –“ In August this year, Pure Hearts had successfully organized free movie screening to more than 2600 underprivileged children, and yet again this musical concert with support of Saints and Sinners will make possible the special screening of two movies at Carnival Cinemas for the visually impaired and blind children as part of the Children's Day week”. The movies are in audio description format with special sounds effect and have been supported by renowned RJ Narendra Joshi and Kavita Seth.

Soul Beats was a true example of the essence of inclusion, celebrated by the Pure Hearts children, Saint n Sinners as partners and all the acclaimed artists and young musicians who came to support and give a gift of imagination to the children without sight.
