World Digital Detox Day is celebrated in India on 10th December, 2022. The purpose of World Digital Detox Day is to bring about a revolution in the use of technology driving people towards its conscious and judicious use. Our focus is to help people lead a life fully ‒ meaningfully and purposefully – to take them closer to a balanced and holistic lifestyle, which promises both mental and physical wellbeing.

World Digital Detox Day foundation believes in establishing healthy guidelines and boundaries for our relationship with technology the first step toward doing this, and doing so from a young age will prevent society from developing digital dementia. This initiative will allow us to maintain elements of our non-digital humanity in this age of technology

In addition to these achievements, the foundation opens doors of opportunity for women working in the wellness business and has successfully altered the lives of thousands of children. The organization also runs a number of other programs, such as offering educational utilities to students and instructing them on how to maintain a healthy balance between their lives online and off.

This year, the World Digital Detox Day was observed at Raj Bhavan, where Maharashtra Governor, Bhagat Singh Koshyari felicitated captains of the wellness industry with the Celebrity Icon Awards.
