About &ME:

When one could assume, &ME entered the House and Techno world somewhat out of the blue, it is due to his sublime modesty that’s already captured in his alias. His way to become one of today’s most praised and sought after DJ/producers are based on a solid foundation. A foundation comprised of solo-releases, remixes, projects and collaborations that numerous, we’d rather refer to his discography than weary you with namedropping. Besides, all those references would just distract from what truly matters – the music this guy is delivering. Not to underestimate the importance of a project such as Terranova for &ME’s current path, but still, the alignment has been made – to focus consistently on his solo work. And it shows.

There are not many artists around turning in such a slew of globally praised floor material like &ME did over the last years. Just think of his last offerings on Keinemusik, a collective of Berlin-based DJs and producers, including Rampa, Adam Port, Reznik & artist Monja Gentschow, he helped founding in 2009, namely “After Dark” and “Woods” or his “Vermillion”-remix for Damian Lazarus – all serious bangers, played by every renowned DJ worldwide. Everything is falling into place for the fella. His DIY-approach to handle things, his easy-going attitude, his reputation as a gifted producer and DJ extraordinaire, his ability to link innovative production with consensual reception, making him one of the most unique and original figures in the game.

About Ankytrixx:

A music devotee from the time he was a teenager, Ankit Kocher is a self-taught Producer/DJ from India, popularly known as Ankytrixx in the electronic dance music circuit. He had his early influences, reflect music tastes from listening to renowned performers such as John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Nick Warren and more.

Ankytrixx’s first steps as a DJ saw him rise in the club scene with gigs and residencies at some of the hottest venues of Kolkata, Nepal and then his subsequent move to Mumbai propelled him to the big league with regular shows across India, even warming up for legends such as John Digweed, Dubfire, Guy J, Henry Saiz and hosted and lent support to Hernan Cattaneo in 2017, all of it has stamped his musical authority over audiences looking for cutting edge dance music experience with over a 100 shows annually. His DJ sets have amassed a number of quantifiers over the years, though none have ever quite managed to define it. Keeping the crowd engaged in an abstract exploration of electronic music, based upon the timbres of space and “non-representational” forms of sonic material.

A proud recipient, he is fresh off winning the National Award for DJ OF THE YEAR 2017 at the recently concluded INCA (India Nightlife and Convention Awards) 2017 in Mumbai. VH1 MyFavAwards Best Electronic DJ (2012/2013) two years in succession and the title of – VH1 MYFav DJ Of The Year (2013) in India’s largest online people’s choice awards.

Carefully crafting his sets on the classical foundation of turntables, CDJS and a mixer week after week turning each floor into a raving hot box brought him international appeal and recognition with invites to play at underground clubs across Europe. He maintains an international schedule and tours extensively during summer, and one can find him at the best venues of Amsterdam, Ibiza, Berlin, and Barcelona. From Studio80 in Amsterdam to KaterHolzig & Renate in Berlin, super club PACHA, Bora Bora, Sankeys in Ibiza, as a pioneering combination of performance and electronics. He is also a regular figure at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in Amsterdam and Mumbai by curating parties that are going down in the history books of dance as some of the best and must attend does.
