Recipe of Grilled Salmon and Avocado Salsa By Chef N.D Sharma, (Culinary Head of Barbeque Nation Hospitality Limited)

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 ripe avocados, diced
  • 1/4 red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Preparation Method:

1-Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

2-Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

3-Place the salmon fillets on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the salmon is cooked through.

4-While the salmon is cooking, make the avocado salsa. In a medium bowl, combine the diced avocado, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, jalapeno pepper, and minced garlic. Mix well.

5-Serve the grilled salmon with a generous scoop of avocado salsa on top.

This recipe is high in protein and healthy fats, which are good for your liver. Salmon is also a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, which have anti-inflammatory properties that can help protect the liver from damage.
