Healthy Republic Day Recipes from Executive Chef, Gopal Jha, Grand Mercure Bangalore

Ingredients:

200 grams of penne

1 cup sliced fresh broccoli

1 medium carrot, thinly sliced

1/2 cup sliced green onions

1/4 cup butter, cubed

1 garlic clove, minced

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 cup dry white wine

1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add penne to the water and cook for 8-10 minutes.

In a large skillet, cook the broccoli, carrot and onions in butter for 3 minutes. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.

Drain penne; add to skillet and toss. Sprinkle with cheese.
