Gujarat Hotel and Restaurant Association has declared that they will not accept Swiggy orders from Friday onwards. However, Zomato and Uber Eats users will be able to order food online.
The association, upset with current 22
per cent commission rate, has demanded Swiggy to fix commission standards. They have decided not to bow down to food delivery giant's unreasonable demands.
The association fixed a meeting with representatives of Swiggy and Zomato. Zomato has asked for some more time to rethink over the proposal whereas Swiggy has refused to give in. Association will also support the restaurants which have signed annual contracts with food delivery companies.
