Black Dog Wine Cask

Black Dog, a premium scotch whisky from Diageo, in association with English actress Keira Knightley, discovers new layers of luxury and unravel the distinctive flavors of Scotland through its limited-edition Wine Cask release, in order to expand a moment into indulgence and offer consumers with the requisite Pause to Savour. The rare Wine Cask edition is a complex blend of aged whiskies that have been matured and finished in casks that previously held a premium red wine. Priced at a premium, the new Black Dog is a limited release of 10,000 cases which will be available only at very select outlets in the country.

Godawan 100

Godawan 100 is a collector’s edition artisanal single malt whisky produced by Diageo India. The whisky is inspired by the Great Indian Bustard, known as Godawan, and aims to raise awareness and support the conservation efforts for this endangered bird species. Godawan 100 is a limited release, with only 100 bottles in each batch. Each bottle is unique, featuring a bespoke label with a distinctive image of the Great Indian Bustard. The packaging for each bottle is crafted from old bourbon casks used for maturing the whisky.

The whisky itself is double-matured in American Ex Bourbon and European Oak Casks and made from Indian six-row barley. It is matured at a specific location in Alwar, Rajasthan, with the arid climatic conditions contributing to a unique “Angel’s share” phenomenon that affects the flavour profile. The liquid is described as dark amber, with a sweet and creamy palate that has an intense richness of fruits and grapes.
