RK Sarovar Portico honoured as ‘Most Preferred Business Hotel of the year’

RK Sarovar Portico, Srinagar has been awarded for the ‘Most Preferred Business Hotel of the Year 2016.’

The award was conferred at the award ceremony of National Awards for Excellence in Hotel Industry. The award was received by Saddam Zaroo, Managing Director RK Sarovar Portico Srinagar and General Manager RK Sarovar Portico Shafiul Alam, at Taj Lands End Mumbai.

At the occasion Zaroo thanked the jury for the recognition and also announced his plan of expansion and opening of hotel chains in Kashmir.

Sarovar Hotels & Resortshas moved forward for aggressive growth plan with the signing of two new hotels in North India. An 81 room Sarovar Portico at Kapashera New Delhi and a 43 room Sarovar Portico at Palampur, HP have been signed by the group. Both the hotels are likely to function by July 2016.

At present it has more than 72 operating hotels in its group.

It is one of the fastest growing hotel chains. It further plans for openings in Amritsar, Ajmer, Bhavnagar, Bekal , Dehradun, Greater Noida , Jaisalmer, Jalandhar, and Raipur.

With these developments the group focuses on both business and leisure sector.
